Under the federal No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your care will cost if you are uninsured, or if you are insured but choose not to use your insurance.
Estimates are provided for self-pay services, which here include nature-based trauma intensives, outdoor therapy packages, and the ketamine-assisted psychotherapy protocol. Where you are using insurance for standard individual sessions, your plan's cost-sharing rules apply instead.
Please note: for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, an estimate from this practice covers the psychotherapy only. Journey Clinical is a separate provider responsible for the medical portion and will provide their own estimate and their own bill.
If you are billed at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you may start a dispute resolution process with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services within 120 days of the bill. Disputing a bill does not affect the quality of care you receive.
